RailNation Miami - Public Transit Directions To Hyatt Regency
If Arriving By Amtrak:
Amtrak’s Hialeah Station is directly served by two Metro-Dade Bus Routes: #42 & #112- L
- The southbound #42 bus, destined for Douglas Road Metrorail, connects to the MetroRail Palmetto – Dadeland South Green Line at the Tri-Rail Metrorail Station. At the Tri-Rail Metrorail station you will board an inbound Green Line train destined for Downtown and Dadeland South to the Government Center Station. Note: the last weekday southbound trip is at 6:28pm from the Amtrak station.
- The eastbound #112 – L bus, destined for Miami Beach, connects to the MetroRail Palmetto – Dadeland South Green Line at the Northside Metrorail Station. At the Northside Metrorail station you will board an inbound Green Line train destined for Downtown and Dadeland South to the Government Center Station. Note: the last weekday eastbound trip is at 9:36pm from the Amtrak station.
- Change from Metrorail to Metromover at the Government Center station.

- Use the Omni Loop or the Inner Loop to the Knight Center Station
- or

- Use the Brickell Loop to the Riverwalk Station
- From Metromover Knight Center Station to the Hyatt Regency:

- Go down several flights of escalators to the bottom level, then walk along the under street passage and follow signs to the Hotel and Convention Center.
- From Metromover Riverwalk Station to the Hyatt Regency:

- Go down escalators or elevator to the ground level, go to the Miami River and turn left. Walk along the Miami River to the hotel/convention center entrance, which will be to your left.
Alternative NO BUS Connection Option:
- Transfer from Amtrak to a southbound Tri-Rail Train at the Hollywood Station. The Tri-Rail train should board from the same platform. Take the Tri-Rail Train to either the Metrorail Transfer Station or to the end of the line at the Miami International Airport Multimodal Center.
- If connecting at the Metrorail Transfer Station, board an inbound Green Line train destined for Downtown and Dadeland South to the Government Center Station.
- If connecting at Miami International Airport Multimodal Center station, take an inbound Orange Line train destined for Downtown and Dadeland South to the Government Center Station.
- Change from Metrorail to Metromover at the Government Center station.

- Take an inbound Metrorail Orange Line train destined for Downtown and Dadeland South to the Government Center Station.
- Change from Metrorail to Metromover at the Government Center station.

- Exit the station through the main exit to the street and for Lyft pickup (Note: This is not on the Metrorail side of the station complex). Cross intersection and walk to the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Metromover station.

- LYFT estimates a personal (individaul) ride from the Amtrak Station to the Hyatt Regency would cost ~$15 - $18. Regular taxi cab service will be more expensive!
